UNL CMS Workshops
- Self-guided review of documentation and introductory training video required for attendance.

- WATCH YOUR LINKS! CMS sites have a built-in page (Reports → Top 'page not found' errors) that shows a list of URLs that users are visiting that result in Not Found being shown.
CMS updates

- Person page:
- Fix issues viewing the Edit tab to allow editing a Person page.
- Education content currently displays only when the Bio field is filled out. It should display regardless of whether the Bio field has content
- Bulk update poor-quality alt text with AI is mostly completed.
- Added Metatag options on a per-page basis (documentation coming soon)
Pending Review and Deployment
- Install and configure Tagify: Replace the end-of-life Select2 widget for content types and components.
- Hero and Display Banner components: Object position selection is not working.
- Added the ability to apply frame style to images inserted through CKEditor.
- Timeline Component: Updated the styling to center the arrows properly and reduce the overall height of the Timeline block.
- Simple Media Component: Resolved an issue where some images extended beyond the grid boundaries in Chrome browsers.
- Display Banner Component: Fixed an issue where adding large amounts of content caused buttons to overflow into adjacent sections.
- Component Animations and Scroll Effects: Added fade-in-on-scroll effects for Icon Links, Logo Cloud logos, Basic Tandem images, Fade Tandem images, and Simple Media images. Added a parallax scrolling effect to Stacked Tandem images and a sticky scrolling effect to Basic Tandem text.
- Added the ability to reorder sections within Layout Builder.
- News List Component: Updated the “More News” button to automatically link to a page displaying content associated with all selected tags. Also added the ability to customize the button’s text.
- Delete Contextual Link: Disabled the Delete link displayed under the pencil icon in "View" mode for the main content area. This is to help prevent accidental deletion of a page.
